Sports Coach Opportunity

Active Sports Group is a Fun, Healthy and Inclusive coaching organisation that offers a variety of sports-based services across the UK for children aged 18 months - 11 years.

Now in its 15th year and with continued growth and success, Active Sports Group are recruiting enthusiastic, reliable and qualified sports coaches to join the team and support the delivery of primary school and holiday based services across the North West.

The role of a Sports Coach includes:

  • Leading and supporting the delivery of skill and team-based activities in and outside a school environment
  • Delivering curricular and extra-curricular sessions in a variety of primary school settings
  • Providing a fun, healthy and inclusive environment to help develop a child’s resilience, confidence and growth
  • Providing excellent customer service to both schools and parents

This is a great opportunity for a sports coach who has a passion for inspiring young people to lead an active and healthy lifestyle whilst developing their own experience within a well-established company that is fresh and forward-thinking.

In addition to the support provided on the planning and delivery of sessions, Active Sports Group coaches can also benefit from the companies CPD programme that supports individuals develop their own skills, knowledge and experience to help further their career.

Skills Match

  • Essential
    FA or NGB Qualification - minimum Level 1 or 2
  • DBS Certification
  • Experience of working with children aged 4-11 years

Desirable

  • Full driving license and vehicle
  • First Aid Qualification
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and safe practice
  • Good leadership and organisational skills
  • Team Player
  • Friendly and approachable with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Vibrant, fun and confident personality
