I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark Whitwood and his company Active Soccer with regard to his football coaching business which he runs throughout the UK.
Mark is a fine example of a Prince’s Trust Ambassador who took advantage of the Prince’s Trust support to run an extremely successful business which deserves to succeed and play a vital part in the successful progression of youngsters taking part in football, being well coached, trained and making it to the very highest levels.

Pannal School:
Dear active soccer Harrogate
It has been great having Active Soccer coming into Pannal School. We have tried using a number of outside football agencies and unfortunately none of them have ever come upto our standards until Active Soccer came along. Pannal School has alot of high standards and rules which Active Soccer have been brilliant in supporting and seem to employ the same high standards in their coaching and attitude. Phil has been the main coach at Pannal who is very popular with the children in his friendly but firm manner. The children always report back to me what they have been learning and often show me at playtime the new skills/ games they have learnt. Also Active Soccer is for everyone experienced at football or just trying it out for the first time. We look forward to having Phil back to run another after school club early next year.
Thanks again for giving so many children a positive football experience.
Charlotte Smith (PE coordinator)
Rosset Acre:
Hi Phil,
Just to say thank you for running an after school football club at Rossett Acre this last half term. The children really enjoyed the sessions which were run smoothly and professionally. We look forward to one last session after half term before having a break and then resuming sessions for different Year groups during the Spring and Summer terms.
