Welcome to Active Soccer

Matthew Slocombe

Having played football since i was four years of age, i can truly say that football is my life. I consider coaching to be the best job after that of being a professional player. In my capacity as a coach i see it as my responsibility to educate children in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, the importance of exercise and a well balanced, nutritional diet.

At active soccer we endeavour to nurture children’s individual skills and also their ability to play as part of a team-after all that is what football is all about!

Testimonials

Active Soccer has provided football coaching to Newfield School with fantastic results and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any organisation.  The activities were always well planned and fast paced, including every child in attendance. Tangible immediate rewards were used and this served to inspire the children to achieve more. A graduated approach to skill development was essential in our SEBD setting and Mark Whitwood in particular excelled at this, with all pupils succeeding and enjoying the rewards of this.

If you would like to discuss this further I am more than willing to make myself available, please contact on either of the telephone numbers above or the address below.
