Sarah Wiltshire is a key part of the squad at Watford Ladies and she is a great example of what can be achieved through determination, commitment and hard work. The fact she has competed in a youth World Cup and is playing Premier League football at a relatively young age is full credit to her desire to succeed. We have no doubt at the club, that Sarah is an excellent coach and can act as an ideal role model for children in football and she always believes it’s necessary to enjoy football, a fact that is almost impossible not to rub off on everyone around her, when you see her passion for the game.

Having worked with Steve Edwards for many years I know that he is a dedicated and innovative coach who can get the best out of any players he coaches no matter what their level of ability. Sessions are always well thought out and planned which means that the participants enjoy and learn from them and want to come back!

I’ve worked with Steve Edwards for many years assisting him at Hoddesdon Owls Ladies team and been coached by him for our local Saturday team Goffs Old boys.  Steve conducts himself in a professional manner and puts everything into getting the best out of whoever he coaches.  Steve’s coaching style is a calm and collective one.  He enjoys getting involved in the coaching and tries to make it as enjoyable as possible.  Players respond to instructions that Steve gives and the feedback from the players is positive.  He is very approachable and makes time for all his players and staff. Steve is passionate about football and coaching and will do all he can for players to enjoy the game and develop.
