Our Philosophy

Our Mission

Active Soccer provides fun, healthy and inclusive play through accessible, progressive and structured football programmes that compliment current government initiatives for all young people aged 4 – 14yrs.This is done with the belief that every child should be able to participate in the program of his or her choice regardless of race, religion, gender, ability, or financial status. This spirit is fostered in an environment where everyone has a chance to play and learn, regardless of skill. Through this Active Soccer attempts to help deliver the government targets of 2 hours of physical activity per week delivered through schools to work with parents towards the goal of an hour of moderate intensity activity 5 times a week. Active Soccer's long-term goal is to give its participants positive experiences of sport through a fun and engaging experience that will increase their chances of a more sustainable active lifestyle.

Brand Values

Through our wealth of experience we have experienced at first hand the wide reaching benefits of structured physical activity on young people. More specifically our aim is to provide an experience that will benefit the child mental, physical and social health in a way that will benefit all parties involved from parents and schools to local communities and the child themselves. As a result every area of Active Soccer is focused on delivering our commitment to FUN, HEALTHY and INCLUSIVE physical activity through football.

Fun

Unlike other football coaching schools Active Soccer is committed to delivering a fun and engaging experience to young people in order to facilitate their immediate as well as long term participation in physical activity. To achieve this all our courses and programmes are carefully structured to provide the most effective balance between competitions and play whilst also maintaining a recognisable environment similar to lessons attended during school.

Healthy

Active Soccer looks to position itself within the already established platform from which young people can become involved in physical activity and as a result look to offer a route to the government recommended targets for leading healthy lifestyles. At the heart of our company’s ethos is a commitment to the government’s target of ensuring young people receive 5 hours of physical activity per week in total, 2 of which are delivered by schools. It is expected that through this level of activity the current levels of poor health in the UK will be reversed.

Inclusive

We believe that no child should be excluded from participating in physical activity due to factors that could have easily been avoided. As a result Active Soccer aims to constantly evaluate the delivery of all its coaching sessions to implement a programme that is available for as many young people as possible. In order to implement this as effectively as possible every key stakeholder must be taken into account, with particular emphasis being placed on increasingly time starved and risk averse parents.
