Football is a great game that involves many skills that improve players of all ages technically, psychologically, physically and socially. These skills are as important in everyday life as they are in the game.
We have developed a great friendship and understanding after initially meeting due to our love of the game. We have and continue to coach a variety of age groups voluntarily throughout the local community.
As coaches we believe that football should not only be fun and enjoyable but help to give young people an insight into what values are needed to help develop strong relationships in whatever capacity . We believe our job as coaches is to help those that want to progress in the sport, but also, and just as importantly help those who just enjoy playing and want to have fun.
We feel it is important that children have the capacity to succeed and improve at all aspects involved in life in a safe, fun and healthy environment.
It is our aim at Active Soccer to Provide this for children of all ages and abilities.

Monday Night Girls Football
Active Soccer Woking are proud to announce the news Monday Night Girls Football club will be starting after half term.
We will be running the course at Achieve Lifestyle Egham on their excellent 3G pitches.
The Course will be running for an initial 5 week period from 25th February to 25th March 5:30 - 6:30pm at a cost of £3 per child per session.

Summer Courses at Acheive Lifestyle
We are happy to announce that all our summer courses will be taking place at Acheive Lifestyle in Egham.
We are running 4 Football Courses and 1 Multi Sports Course.
Football Course Details:
23rd - 27th July
6th - 10th August
13th - 17th August
27th - 31st August
All Football Courses are run at a cost of £50 per child for the full 5 Days or £15 per day otherwise. All courses are run 9:00am - 3:30pm and must be booked through Active Soccer.
Multi Sports Details:
20th - 24th August
Booking must be made through the Achieve Lifesyle Reception. The Course is being run at a cost of £20 full day or £12 half day bookings per day. The course will run from 9:00am - 12:00pm half day and 9:00am - 4:00pm.

Great Success for Thorpe Lea!!!
Thorpe Lea Primary School recently had some amazing results at the district sports event in Walton.
Having previously never gained a medal at the event Thorpe Lea decided to work with Active Soccer to give specialist training to the children that would be taking part and competing on the day. After months of training for the event, all the hard work paid off, with the school gaining 13 finalists.
However an amazing 5 of these finalists went on to gain a place in the top 3 of their respective events.
Active Soccer woud like to congratulate all the children that took part and we are looking forward to working hard next year to improve on this year's results!!!!!

Planing, Preparation and Assessments
Active Soccer has compiled a comprehensive programme that provides qualified coaches to schools to deliver games lessons at Key Stage 1 & 2. All lessons are based on the National Curriculum and the Val Sabin resources material. Assessments are also prepared by the coaches in conjunction with the school to measure the children attainment levels.
Active Soccer provides:

Extra-Curricular
Active Soccer provides Breakfast, Lunch and after school clubs. Not only do the clubs support your schools extended school programme, assist parents with child care provision, but they also provide a safe fun environment for children to learn new skills and increase their confidence and level of physical activity.
The clubs are very easy to set up, as Active Soccer will provide all application forms, registers and certificates for all the children. We can also attend your school to promote the course during one of your school assemblies. The children then hand in their completed forms to the school secretary or your nominated member(s) of staff and our staff will be there to kick off your after school club. Or if your School prefers your local Active Soccer Head Office can handle the course entirely ensuring your school do not have the extra worry of this activity.

Fundraising
Active Soccer has come up with a fantastic initiative to help raise money for your school and we will do all the work. Your Pupils gain sponsorship to take 3 shots at our Active Soccer Target. The day provides the school with an excellent opportunity to raise funds with sponsorship money. The Children are encouraged to collect sponsors with some fantastic prizes on offer:
- Every Participant receives a certificate
- The best penalty taker in each class receives an Active Soccer voucher
- Every Child that raises over £50 receives an Active Soccer Football
- The highest fundraiser in the school receives the full Active Soccer Umbro football Strip

Coaching Courses
ACTIVE SOCCER HOLIDAY CAMPS
Active Soccer holiday camps are run every school holiday ranging from 1 - 5 day courses at different venues throughout the UK.
The courses are for both boys and girls aged 4 to 14 years of age and cater for mixed ability from beginner to future stars.
The days consist of fun, healthy and inclusive coaching sessions, covering all aspects of the game, along with playing small sided matches and end of course World Cup tournaments.
Special trophies & awards can be won on the course. Break times are provided and we make children aware of aspects upon diet, nutrition through fun quiz’s, crosswords and drawings.
All participants will receive a course certificate and there are lots of competitions to win, including the penalty king and the active soccer best attitude award.
SATURDAY MORNING FUN CLUBS
The courses are for players of mixed abilities aged between 4 and 12 years and run over ten week blocks for one hour on a Saturday morning each week.
The course is designed with the aim of the children having fun and learning new techniques each week.
At an Active Soccer Saturday Morning Centre children have the chance to win a Most Improved and Best Attitude trophy. All participants receive an attendance certificate signed by their coach after the World Cup competition that is held in the final week.

SUNDAY DROP AND SHOP SOCCER
Sunday Drop and Shop sessions give parents the chance to collect their weekly shopping and leave the children active in a fun, healthy and inclusive environment playing soccer with our qualified coaches.

EVENING SOCCER CENTRES

PARTY VENUE
Active Soccer can stage the birthday party in your back garden, school, local park or we even have links with several superb indoor and outdoor sports facilities (please note hired facilities as an additional cost to rates above). We would be happy to assist you with the booking of your venue if required.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
For legal reasons we cannot currently take bookings online, you will need to make a booking by post - please download a birthday party flyer
When booking your party we will require you to complete and send a party booking registration the Active Soccer Head Office.

CANCELLATIONS
If your party needs to be cancelled this must be done at least 7 days before the arranged date to receive a full refund. If you require the party to be rearranged please contact active soccer at least 7 days before the event.
NOTES FOR PARENTS
- All our staff are CRB checked, First Aid Certified and all our Coaches are FA Qualified
- If your child is attending an Active Soccer party, we'd advise that you prepare them with:
- Football clothing, rain jacket, trainers, football boots and shin pads if available
- Plenty of drinks
- Sun cream if hot weather is forecast and a towel if there's a possibility of rain (dependent on venue)
